Each March, in anticipation of Spring, Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery fills up with flowers. Photographers and painters present both abstract and realist works, pedestals are topped with handcrafted vases and Ikebana’s sport floral arrangements. Handcrafted jewelry similarly reflects the floral theme. The works will be judged, allowing talented art students from local high schools to compete with more experienced artists for a $100 first place prize and 2nd and 3rd place ribbons. Opening reception with artists meet and greet, Friday March 2, 6-10 p.m.
